Branching out from ceramics and clay for the first time, we weren’t sure where we were going to end up when we starting playing with iron as the medium for the Joe pots and saucers. We really wanted to achieve a modern and clean look that could also work in a more traditional environment. We used warm tones of copper and bronze contrasted against textures and subtle patterns in earthy colours like brown, green and mahogany and we hit the nail on head. Each pot has a matching saucer to give them a clean, polished look.

Your plants will feel sophisticated and cool in these planters. Just remember, if you keep your Joe’s in a consistently hot and sunny area make sure you check the soil for dryness a little more frequently than you would for a ceramic planter as the heat with dry it out quicker.

There is a time and a place for them but we can’t lie, we’re over the look so we set out to design a cool alternative to the traditional terracotta pot and saucer. We went the handmade ceramics approach and left the rims of each pot scalloped to give them an organic feel.  The wavy lines of the edges give the pots just enough movement to look interesting. A hanging planter that is functional but still sleek and modern was the goal in mind for designing the Mini Mofo's. We went with clay for the material because the matte finish would hit that contemporary vibe we were going for, and plants love a clay pot. We went with the geometric pattern for texture and visual interest. While the White and the Charcoal Black will likely appeal to the lover of minimalism, the warm Blue Grey and the pale Grey will work just as easily in a Cape Cod beach home.

We wanted to make sure you didn’t have to think when you got home so it comes with everything you need to get it up and looking pretty: a metal O-Ring so you can hang it off a screw hook in your ceiling and waterproof rope so that you don’t have to worry about it getting wet and rotting and then falling from the skies.

While there is no drainage, a shallow layer of pebble in the bottom will ensure your plant gets the drainage it needs. Just picture your String of Pearls draping over the rim and down to the ground, gorgeous! If you don’t feel like planting it up, we love piling it with air plants and watching their tendrils drape down. A cluster of succulents would be grateful to you if you made this their forever home.

Wall mounted plant holders are our “thing” and we’re pretty proud about that. Given the success we’ve had with our current wall mounted plant holders, we had set ourselves a high bar to reach for our next offering and I think we can safely say we blew it out of the water with the Slab succulent pots.

Space is a luxury in most modern homes and apartments so we like the idea of being able to bring your succulent pots up off the tabletop and onto the walls which are often neglected for cool design. Slab comes in two sizes and we love the idea of grouping one of the Large with a medium sized one. The geometric shape works perfectly for nestling the two shapes together on the wall. Or go big and do a wall art installation with a bunch of them and make your friends jealous of your vertical garden.

Offered in eight chic colors - Red, Yellow, Navy, Pink, Plum, Blue, Chartreuse, Grey – we give you lots of space to get creative. We currently are obsessed with the Navy / Pink combo.

There is enough room in the triangle space at the bottom of each Slab for you to layer some gravel in which will keep your succulents happy. We also love using a lush and large air plant in these guys and letting the leaves cascade down the wall.

The Large Slab Planter is 6 inches long x 7.5 inches wide x 10.5 inches tall.

The Medium Slab Planter is 4 inches long x 5.5 inches wide x 8.5 inches tall.
