Hanging Planters

Hanging planters are pots designed to suspend from a ceiling, hook, or wall rather than sit on a surface. Chive's ceramic hanging planters come in six collections — Mofo, Mini Mofo, Bobbin, Thimble, Hanging Aerium, and Virago — each with a hanging cord included.

Yes. All six collections are designed for indoor use. They are ceramic, which means they are not built for rain, frost, or anything a Canadian winter would do to them.

Trailing plants are the obvious answer — Pothos, Philodendron, String of Pearls, Tradescantia. Anything that wants to go down rather than up will be considerably happier in a hanging planter than on a shelf pretending to be interested in the ceiling.

The six collections cover a range of sizes from the Thimble at the smaller end through to the Virago. If you know the size of your plant's current pot, that is the number to match.

The Mofo, Mini Mofo, Bobbin, and Thimble are designed to hang from a hook or ceiling mount. The Hanging Aerium has a wall-mount option. Check the individual product pages for mounting details.
