Chive ships to more than 40 countries worldwide. Separate regional stores serve Canada (chive.ca), the United Kingdom and parts of Asia (chiveuk.com), and Europe (chiveceramics.com). Ryan has managed the Chive plant shop in Toronto since it opened its doors in 2020, which is a polite way of saying he has spent half a decade developing a genuine, borderline-alarming intimacy with soil, seed packets, and the emotional needs of terrariums. If a plant in that shop so much as sighs, Ryan has already noticed, already diagnosed it, and already started composing the intervention.

He did not choose the nickname "Plant Daddy." The plants did. He has made peace with it. He has opinions about your watering schedule that he will share whether or not you asked, and he is never, ever wrong about it, which is the most annoying kind of person to a fern's owner.
