Mofo Mint Peony
The Mofo Mint Peony — a different form than the original Mofo, in mint, at 6 inches, with the same confidence.
Classic Collection ceramic wall flowers include two pieces with Mofo in the name because both earned it. The Mofo Mint Peony is a handmade ceramic wall flower from the Classic Collection, kiln-fired in Toronto in a mint glaze — the specific cool green that sits at the intersection of the Classic Collection's green tradition and the blue-adjacent territory — shaped in the peony form at 6 inches. It is not the same piece as the retiring Mofo Green — that one is 11 inches in the large flower form. This is the peony version: 6 inches, mint, the Mofo name applied to the peony form because the combination earned the same quality of studio response that the original received.
The mint that Briana made when the original Mofo was already established
The Mofo launched in green at $55 and sold out in a week. After that, the Classic Collection had the Mofo form established and the studio had different glazes available for different runs. Mint is the glaze that Briana developed for the peony form — the cool green that reads as neither the warm green of the original Mofo nor the teal of the teal mum, but the specific cool-green that sits in the Classic Collection's expanded palette as the most botanically unusual version of green available. The Chihuly Garden and Glass carries the Classic Collection. Their acquisition of the custom oil-black piece — made for the enjoyment of making it — was the same spirit in which the Mofo Mint Peony was made.
The Chihuly Garden and Glass carries the Classic Collection. The Art Gallery of Ontario stocks it. The Indianapolis Museum of Art carries it. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show awarded Chive the 5-star booth award — the highest rating given — for 13 consecutive years. Chive has been designing and making ceramic flowers in Toronto since 1999.

How to Hang Ceramic Flowers?
One discovers these flowers, each bearing a secret: a tiny keyhole nestled in the back, waiting for its destiny. The ritual feels almost predetermined - reaching into that dusty jar of orphaned screws, the ones squirreled away over countless home projects. Those odd bits of metal, collected like precious coins, finally finding their purpose. A quick twist of the drill, and there hangs beauty, supported by hardware whose previous life remains a mystery.
