Build Your Floral Wall With These:

Designed to cluster naturally, like a wild garden. Choose a flower as your design anchor, then grow your custom floral wall with these companions:

A 19th anniversary gift is the one that tests whether the gesture has kept up with the relationship, and ceramic — the one material that neither ages out nor requires care — makes a case the florist cannot. This jade green English rose does not exist in nature, and Chive Ceramics Studio made it anyway — the classic form translated into a color with no botanical precedent, built petal by petal until the jade reads as intention. The English rose bloom is the fullest form in the ceramic flower line, with enough petal layers that the center carries genuine depth rather than a pressed approximation. It ships in gift-ready packaging and works equally well mounted on a wall or displayed flat as a table centerpiece. Artisans shape these pieces by hand, and the jade glaze deepens in the center of every piece where the petals converge. The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe carries Chive ceramic wall flowers in its gift shop.

How to hang & display

Wall hanging

Works on drywall, plaster, or wood panelling. Drive a small screw at a slight upward angle, leaving the head proud of the wall. Slide the keyhole slot on the back over the screw head, adjust to level. Sits flush — no visible hardware.

No stud? No problem. A drywall anchor rated for the weight works fine.

Displaying a collection

Lay everything out on the floor first. Start with your anchor piece, build outward. Keep 2–3 inches between each piece and aim for the centre of the whole arrangement to land around eye level. Use painter's tape on the wall to map positions before committing to any screws.

Table & shelf display: Equally beautiful propped on a shelf, mantle, or side table. Pair with books, candles, or a small pot.

A Rose Bush Never Grew This Color

The jade green English rose does not exist in nature. I want to be clear about this upfront in the way that I am never clear about anything upfront, which is to say I will tell you now and then continue anyway. It exists in the way that certain things exist — in the catalog, in the photograph taken by someone who understood light in a way that is not generally available, in the specific shade of jade that Chive Ceramics Studio landed on after a number of attempts that were close but not quite jade and therefore wrong in a way that was more frustrating than simply being wrong would have been.

You order it and what arrives is a flower that is technically keeping its promise while also making clear that the promise was always a little ambitious, which is the most honest thing a color this specific can do. Jade is not a forgiving color. It knows what it is. It is not interested in being a slightly different green because that would be more botanically defensible.

We made this in ceramic because if the jade green English rose is going to exist in spite of the available botanical evidence, it should exist indefinitely. The color is the argument. The ceramic is what makes the argument stick.

Part of the English Garden Collection

The English Garden collection borrows its chaos from cottage beds never pruned into submission — rambling roses, over-full peonies, zinnias that stayed uninvited. Every piece trades one fussy bloom for an overgrown afternoon. The Jade Green English Rose keeps every ruffled petal of the classic shape, pushed toward a green no rose bush has ever produced. A bolder rose nearby carries the same classic shape in a hotter color.

Two Ways to Display

Every Chive ceramic flower works two ways: mounted vertically as part of a gallery wall that grows one piece at a time, or laid flat across an entryway console or shelf as a tablescape that never needs the water changed. The keyhole on the back handles the wall version; the base handles the surface version. Most people start with one flower and end up needing both configurations before they admit it.

Complete the Look

The Minute pot in Green Blue is the color that jade green has a conversation with rather than a standoff — neither one competes, both of them doing the same quiet work of being a color that takes some attention to fully see. The Minute comes with a saucer, handles a standard root system, and the green-blue glaze sits just on the cooler side of jade in a way that makes both colors more interesting in proximity.

The Classic Shape, Recolored

Color invention at the studio begins with glaze chemistry and ends with the hand-shaped piece, which is the only moment of truth that matters. Color development at the studio goes back to 2004 — jade in particular required multiple formula iterations to achieve a depth that reads as genuine jade rather than dark green with ambitions. The glaze has to hold a very specific temperature range to arrive at that depth rather than missing it in either direction.

Each piece leaves the studio having been shaped entirely by hand; the jade glaze varies slightly from piece to piece in the way any color this specific must. That variation is not a flaw — it is what keeps the surface reading as made rather than manufactured.

Frequently asked questions

Do ceramic wall flowers need command strips for jade roses?

The Jade Green English Rose hangs with a single standard screw in drywall — no command strips, no adhesives, no additional mounting system required. The keyhole slot on the back is sized for a standard picture-hanging screw, and the process takes approximately ninety seconds once the screw is in the wall. Command strips work as an alternative on non-drilling walls. Ships with a guide card.

What is a meaningful 19th anniversary gift idea?

A 19th anniversary gift that earns the year rather than simply arriving near it is one where the object has something to say about the occasion itself — the jade rose does this by combining the most formal flower form with a color that required genuine effort to achieve, which is either a metaphor or just a very good glaze. Holds indefinitely. Requires nothing after delivery. Ships ready.

Is a Jade English Rose a good 19th anniversary gift?

A 19th anniversary gift in jade ceramic earns the year on two counts simultaneously — ceramic as the material of the anniversary, jade as a color that has its own longevity reading built into the stone tradition it borrows its name from. The Jade Green English Rose ships in gift-ready packaging with no vase, no arrangement, and no two-week expiration. Already handled.

Does a Jade English Rose work as eclectic boho decor?

Boho wall decor benefits from things that read as collected rather than purchased, and the Jade Green English Rose qualifies on both the color and the form — jade as a color that does not appear in garden centers, an English rose as a form that reads as deliberate regardless of context. No season, no trend cycle, no material that requires updating. Simply stays on the wall.

Does a Jade Rose ship ready as a holiday gift?

The Jade Green English Rose ships in protective gift-ready packaging — no vase, no additional wrapping, no arrangement required on the sending or receiving end. It arrives protected and ready to display immediately, which matters when the timeline is tight and the gift is expected to look like effort rather than logistics. Holds the full bloom indefinitely. Nothing required after delivery.

What is a thoughtful gift idea for a stylish aunt?

A gift for aunt that carries some actual judgment is one that looks like it was chosen rather than browsed — jade green is not a color that arrives by accident, and an English rose in that glaze reads as having been found by someone who was paying attention. Ships gift-ready. Ceramic, so nothing wilts, nothing needs water, nothing requires care. Stays as long as she keeps it.

How long does a Jade Green English Rose last versus fresh?

A Jade Green English Rose in ceramic lasts indefinitely — no water, no vase, no dormancy. A fresh English rose in a color this specific would not be available at any florist at any price, which is a separate problem, and gives approximately five to seven days even if it were. The ceramic version holds the full bloom for as long as it stays on a wall or surface.

Is a ceramic rose a good birthday gift for an aunt?

A ceramic rose in jade green is a birthday gift that reads as genuinely considered — jade as a color you do not arrive at accidentally, an English rose as the most formally correct flower form available, combined in a glaze that is not available in any garden or flower shop. Ships protected. Arrives ready. Holds the bloom indefinitely without care. That is the entire argument.
