The large Tika in Black is a glazed ceramic plant pot with a center drainage hole and a matching saucer, and there is a certain kind of person who will tell you, with complete conviction, that they only buy black pots because the plant pops off the black. They have said this sentence many times. They will say it again.

They are not wrong. The plant does pop, in the way things pop when the background has decided to stop competing and simply support. But something in the delivery suggests the black pot person arrived at this opinion long ago and has not felt the need to revisit it since, which is either very decisive or the container equivalent of only wearing black clothing.   1. Repot in the evening.
