Build Your Floral Wall With These:

Designed to cluster naturally, like a wild garden. Choose a flower as your design anchor, then grow your custom floral wall with these companions:

Kitchen wall art faces grease, steam, and the ruthless afternoon glare through a window nobody remembered to shade — conditions that retire most framed prints within a year. Villandry Gardens answers with seven ceramic flowers in navy, peridot green, robin’s egg blue, champagne pink, and peach, named for the château whose ornamental potager proved a kitchen garden could rival any formal parterre. The palette stretches from the deep blue of the Navy Poppy to the bright spring green of the Peridot Keiko Peony, seven shades treating your kitchen wall the way a working garden treats its soil — seriously. Hand-formed at Chive Ceramics Studio, each piece carries reactive glazes that resist fading, peeling, and strong opinions about humidity. Carried by the Audubon Aquarium, the collection includes poppy, peony, azalea, rose, and carnation forms between three and five inches — sized for the wall above a counter or a breakfast nook that deserves far better than a clock.

How to hang & display

Wall hanging

Works on drywall, plaster, or wood panelling. Drive a small screw at a slight upward angle, leaving the head proud of the wall. Slide the keyhole slot on the back over the screw head, adjust to level. Sits flush — no visible hardware.

No stud? No problem. A drywall anchor rated for the weight works fine.

Displaying a collection

Lay everything out on the floor first. Start with your anchor piece, build outward. Keep 2–3 inches between each piece and aim for the centre of the whole arrangement to land around eye level. Use painter's tape on the wall to map positions before committing to any screws.

Table & shelf display: Equally beautiful propped on a shelf, mantle, or side table. Pair with books, candles, or a small pot.

Villandry Gardens - 7 Piece Set - Chive Ceramics Studio - Ceramic Flower Sets - Chive Ceramics Studio

What flowers are included?

Our design team picked these. It took longer than it should have — someone always has opinions about petal shapes, and at least one person was caught quietly swapping out someone else's color choices. What's below is what made it through. Click any name for dimensions, color detail, and close-ups of the individual piece.

The Story Behind This Collection

Villandry is the Loire Valley château with the famous potager — a kitchen garden so beautiful it makes every other vegetable row on earth look like an afterthought. We borrowed the name because these seven ceramic flowers carry the same philosophy: ornamental and practical at once, the way design and function coexist when somebody cares enough about the details to refuse a compromise. Navy Poppy anchors the dark end at four inches, blue deep enough to hold a secret. Orange Yellow Gay Paree Peony and Peach Pink Madonna Azalea pull warmer, dragging the group toward the gold light that fills a kitchen when someone finally sits down for the evening. Peridot Keiko Peony and Robin’s Egg Blue Keiko Peony share a form but disagree about mood in exactly the productive way we intended. Champagne Pink English Rose softens the middle, and Peach Pink Solar Carnation closes the set small and tidy at three and a half inches. Villandry’s potager proved that a kitchen garden could hold its own against any purely decorative parterre, and our set operates on the same thesis: beauty and utility sharing one wall, each earning its place every morning when the light shifts through the window. Seven flowers for a room that forgives nothing. Zero actual vegetables.

The France Collection

Villandry Gardens belongs to the warm, impressionistic palette running through our broader France range — peach tones, late-afternoon golds, and the deep blues we fell for during our first Parisian trade show. Over thirty blooms, every single one hand-formed and individually boxed. Explore the France Collection.

The English Garden Collection

For cooler greens and cottage tones that complement rather than echo Villandry’s kitchen palette, our English Garden range runs fifty-plus flowers deep in shades drawn from hedgerows, borders, and the sort of English garden that has never required a parterre. Shop the English Garden Collection.

Grow Something Real

We named this set after a kitchen garden, so directing you toward an actual living seed felt obligatory rather than merely optional. For the growing side of things we partnered with Shido Seeds. Try Billy Buttons flower seeds — cheerful, globe-shaped, and remarkably difficult to kill.

About Chive Studio

Since 2004 our studio has been producing ceramic flowers, and the number of designs we carry now — north of 180 — keeps climbing because we keep saying yes to colors that interest us and no to the sensible voice suggesting we slow down. Curated sets grew out of customer demand: people browsing 180 options with the expression of someone choosing a paint swatch for the room they stare at most. Villandry Gardens is what happens when we do the choosing for a kitchen, the room that remembers everything you hung on its walls and forgives nothing. Same flowers, fewer deliberations, and no more wondering whether peridot pairs with navy. It does.

Frequently asked questions

How many pieces come in the Villandry Gardens curated set?

Villandry Gardens comprises seven ceramic flower pieces hand-shaped in six styles. Each arrives in an individual box fitted with wall-mount hardware for immediate hanging. Seven gave us enough breadth to sweep from deep navy through peridot green to peach without leaving a gap in the gradient — the sort of tonal arithmetic our studio argues about with more enthusiasm than most people consider reasonable.

What is a good kitchen wall art ceramic flower set?

A ceramic flower set worth hanging in a kitchen must survive the room’s conditions: sunlight, steam, grease splatter, and critical guests. Villandry Gardens clears every test — seven handmade blooms in a palette that reads intentional rather than incidental against tile, wood, or painted drywall. Several buyers have placed the group above open shelving, a decision we endorse without reservation.

What colors are in the Villandry Gardens flower collection?

Villandry Gardens spans navy blue, peridot green, robin’s egg blue, champagne pink, orange yellow, and peach pink — a sweep broad enough to complement nearly any kitchen scheme yet specific enough to appear carefully chosen rather than randomly assembled. Reactive glazes shift subtly between natural and artificial light, meaning the group presents differently above the stove than it does beside the table. We consider that an advantage.

How do I arrange the Villandry Gardens set on my wall?

Anchor the arrangement with the Peach Pink Madonna Azalea or Peridot Keiko Peony positioned slightly off-center, then build outward in a loose organic cluster following the natural curve of a garden bed rather than a spreadsheet. Two to three inches between pieces. Kitchens reward asymmetry — nobody needs wall art that looks like it was organized by someone who alphabetizes their spice rack.

Is the Villandry Gardens curated collection easy to hang?

The Villandry Gardens collection goes onto the wall straightforwardly — every bloom has a recessed keyhole that drops over a standard screw, no wall anchors necessary. Seven screws and about twelve minutes covers the full installation. We built the mounts flush so each piece rests flat, which matters in a kitchen where a protruding edge eventually meets a cabinet door.

What size is the Villandry Gardens curated set?

The Solar Carnation anchors the compact end at just over three inches; the Madonna Azalea stretches widest near five and a quarter. Arranged together the seven blooms occupy roughly eighteen to twenty-four inches depending on how generously you space them. The scale targets kitchen walls — visible without competing with the cabinetry for attention.

Can Villandry Gardens ceramic flowers be bought individually?

Any Villandry Gardens bloom can be purchased on its own — the Navy Poppy in particular tends to wander off solo. All seven were curated as an integrated group, however, and pulling one alters the way the remaining tones interact. Buying a single piece is allowed. Buying the full set is the answer that took us a week of studio rearranging to reach.

What rooms suit the Villandry Gardens set best?

Villandry Gardens suits kitchens and dining areas best — rooms where walls endure more daily punishment than they receive credit for. The broad color range also performs well in a sun-filled corridor or a breakfast nook that needs something on the wall besides a memo board. Wherever food and light share a room, this arrangement earns its place.
