Build Your Floral Wall With These:

Designed to cluster naturally, like a wild garden. Choose a flower as your design anchor, then grow your custom floral wall with these companions:

Lake house wall decor that earns its place year-round — the Gotland set brings seven ceramic flowers in champagne pink, jade green, milk teal, and ivory, a palette borrowed from shorelines that do not ask permission to fade. Shaped by hand at Chive Ceramics Studio, each bloom carries reactive glazes that settle differently in every kiln cycle, giving the finished set a depth no two firings can replicate exactly. A rose, spider mum, English rose, azalea, camellia, begonia, and chrysanthemum span the range from 3.75 to 6 inches across, sized so the grouping reads as intentional on a large wall and unhurried on a smaller one. Each piece ships inside its own branded packaging with a pre-installed keyhole fitting for direct mounting — no bracket kits, no measuring twice. Gotland is carried by the Monterey Bay Aquarium, an institution whose corridors prove that coastal beauty and permanent installations coexist well without compromise.

How to hang & display

Wall hanging

Works on drywall, plaster, or wood panelling. Drive a small screw at a slight upward angle, leaving the head proud of the wall. Slide the keyhole slot on the back over the screw head, adjust to level. Sits flush — no visible hardware.

No stud? No problem. A drywall anchor rated for the weight works fine.

Displaying a collection

Lay everything out on the floor first. Start with your anchor piece, build outward. Keep 2–3 inches between each piece and aim for the centre of the whole arrangement to land around eye level. Use painter's tape on the wall to map positions before committing to any screws.

Table & shelf display: Equally beautiful propped on a shelf, mantle, or side table. Pair with books, candles, or a small pot.

Gotland - 7 Piece Set - Chive Ceramics Studio - Ceramic Flower Sets - Chive Ceramics Studio

What flowers are included?

Our design team picked these. It took longer than it should have — someone always has opinions about petal shapes, and at least one person was caught quietly swapping out someone else's color choices. What's below is what made it through. Click any name for dimensions, color detail, and close-ups of the individual piece.

The Story Behind This Collection

Gotland was the set we kept reaching for during the Scandinavian edit and could not entirely explain why. Seven flowers should have been too many for the muted lane we were working in — the whole collection was supposed to run quiet, and seven is not a quiet number. But the palette conspired against our restraint. Champagne pink and jade green sit next to each other the way two people who met an hour ago at a dinner party realize they have been talking through dessert without noticing the plates were cleared. The milk teal camellia does not compete with the ivory azalea; the buttercup chrysanthemum does not outshout the blush begonia. Everything occupies its own register, and the result is a set that feels generous without feeling busy or overeager. We named it for a Swedish island that manages a similar trick — spare landscape, surprisingly abundant once you slow down enough to notice what is actually growing between the rocks. The panache green spider mum was the last addition, slotted in at four-point-three inches as the set's one concession to texture over smoothness. It earned the spot by not asking for it, which is the most Scandinavian way to join anything.

Classic Collection

The Classic Collection holds forty-eight flowers representing two decades of studio output — the full archive of silhouettes, colors, and glaze experiments that eventually found their way into sets like Gotland. If you liked the jade green English rose here, the Classic range has three more roses in the same family waiting for a wall.

Coastal Collection

The Coastal Collection leans into the same shoreline palette Gotland borrows from — sandy neutrals, weathered blues, and whites that look like they have been arguing with sunlight for a decade. Twenty-six flowers built for rooms that want the ocean's opinion on color without the ocean's opinion on humidity.

Grow Something Real

Ceramic flowers handle the walls; live plants handle the rest. Shido Seeds brings the botanical half to the partnership, and the Asparagus Fern Seeds are where we would start — feathery, forgiving, and entirely unbothered by the fact that you forgot about them for a week.

About Chive Studio

Chive Ceramics Studio has operated out of the same instinct since 2004: make something worth putting on a wall and trust people to figure out where it belongs. The catalog grew past a hundred and eighty designs because we kept finding flowers worth making, not because we were chasing a number. Curated sets came later — a response to the person who said, politely but firmly, that choosing among a hundred and eighty options was not relaxing. Fair point. Each set is assembled by palette and proportion, glazed in small batches where the kiln still gets a vote, and shipped in individual packaging so the flowers arrive ready for a wall, not a puzzle.

Frequently asked questions

How many pieces come in the Gotland curated set?

The Gotland curated set includes seven ceramic flower pieces. That roster covers a rose, spider mum, English rose, autumn azalea, camellia, begonia, and chrysanthemum — seven silhouettes, seven distinct glaze reactions, and exactly zero maintenance appointments on the calendar. The count gives you enough variety for a feature wall without requiring a floor plan.

What is a good lake house wall decor ceramic flower set?

A good lake house wall decor ceramic flower set handles humidity, fading, and the seasonal opening-and-closing cycle of a property that spends months unoccupied. Gotland was built for that reality. Ceramic does not warp, the glazes resist UV fade, and the keyhole mounts stay put through temperature swings. It will look the same in October as it did in June.

What colors are in the Gotland ceramic flower collection?

Gotland runs champagne pink, jade green, milk teal, ivory, blush pink, and buttercup yellow across its seven blooms. The color spread is wider than most sets in the Scandinavian range, which was intentional — we wanted a grouping that could anchor a neutral room or complement one that already had something going on. Every shade shifts slightly between firings.

How do I arrange the Gotland set on my wall?

Place the 6-inch ivory azalea as the centerpiece, then arrange the remaining six blooms in a loose arc or asymmetric scatter — two to three inches between each piece works well. The camellia and spider mum pair nicely flanking the anchor, with the smaller rose and chrysanthemum filling the perimeter. Trust your eye over the tape measure.

Is the Gotland curated collection easy to hang?

Every bloom in the Gotland curated collection arrives with a keyhole fitting pre-attached to its back, ready for a single screw per flower. Seven pieces, seven screws, one afternoon — and most people finish in under fifteen minutes once they have the layout sketched. No special tools. The hardest part is choosing the arrangement.

What size is the Gotland ceramic flower set?

The smallest Gotland bloom is the champagne pink rose at 3.75 inches wide, and the largest is the ivory autumn azalea reaching six inches across. The remaining five flowers sit between four and just under six inches, giving the set a graduated scale that reads as curated rather than uniform. Heights range from two to roughly three inches.

Can I buy Gotland ceramic flowers individually or only as a set?

Every ceramic flower in the Gotland set is available individually through the Chive catalog — buy one to test the color on your wall, then come back for the full seven when you have made up your mind. The set bundles the selection work and the shipping into one step, which is the entire selling point if you already know what you want.

What rooms suit the Gotland ceramic flower set best?

The Gotland ceramic flower set works in lake houses, screened porches, living rooms, and bedrooms where the palette runs neutral or coastal. Its champagne and jade tones read equally well against white shiplap, warm wood paneling, or a painted accent wall. Think of it as decor that agrees with whatever the room is already doing.
