People love to steal from Casinos. Ironic, isn’t it? So when a Vegas Casino asked us to design a vase, it had to be cheap. It also had to get dirty, and not be made of glass (apparently the staff don’t know how to clean vases). The result was Jojo, a win win. This isn't the kind of thing you typically read in a casino-themed story.

Jojo Ceramic Bud Vase For Flowers - Chive Ceramics Studio - Vases - Chive US

Why flowers demand to be displayed in a Chive vase.

Designs So Cute, You’ll Want to Date Them: From sleek modern to quirky fun, Chive vases match any vibe (and probably your mood swings).

Your Flowers Will Thank You: With proper drainage and spacing, Chive vases keep blooms happy. Because, really, they deserve better than a mason jar.

Versatility on Point: Whether it’s a single stem or a full bouquet, there’s a Chive vase for the job—like a Swiss Army knife, but cuter.

Because You’re Not Basic: Chive vases make your floral arrangements look thoughtful, not like a last-minute grocery store grab.

How to Cut Flowers Like a Pro:

A (Mostly) Simple Guide to Cutting Your Flowers

So, you’ve decided to make a floral arrangement. Good for you! Let’s make sure your flowers live long enough to impress someone (even if that someone is just you).

  1. Start with Clean Scissors: Yes, I know you’re tempted to grab those kitchen scissors you use to cut open snack bags, but at least give them a wash first. Your flowers don’t need a side of Dorito dust, thanks.
  2. Cut at a 45-Degree Angle: This isn’t geometry class, but cutting the stems at an angle gives them more surface area to drink up water. It’s like giving your flowers a straw instead of expecting them to chug from a bottle.
  3. Trim Under Water (If You’re Fancy): If you really want to go pro, cut the stems underwater to avoid air bubbles. Sure, it feels a little extra, but your flowers didn’t ask to suffocate.
  4. Ditch the Underwater Leaves: Strip off any leaves that would sit below the waterline. Unless, of course, you’re into the whole swamp aesthetic.
  5. Give Them a Fresh Cut if They’ve Been Sitting Out: If your flowers have been out of water for a while, trim the stems again. They need a fresh start—don’t we all?
  6. Change the Water Regularly: Every couple of days, change the water and give the stems a trim. It’s not that hard, and your flowers will thank you by not dying immediately.

And voilà! You’re now the proud creator of a floral arrangement that might just survive long enough for you to forget to water it. Now go forth and arrange those flowers like the domestic deity you pretend to be on Instagram.

Pro Tip: Keep It Short and Sweet!

When it comes to flower stems, shorter is better. Not only do shorter stems look chic in arrangements, but they also help your blooms last longer. Why? Because the shorter the stem, the less distance water has to travel to keep those petals perky. It’s like giving your flowers a shorter commute—less stress, fewer breakdowns.

The Card Shop at the End of Civility

One might call it a greeting card intervention. The kind where relatives gather around, clutching tissues, saying "Your Hallmark addiction has gone too far." But these aren't your grandmother's greeting cards – unless grandmother enjoyed dropping casual F-bombs between sips of Earl Grey.

Why let your flowers die when they can live forever?

These low-maintenance beauties can hang as wall art or add a pop of color to your tablescape, without ever needing water or sunlight. Perfect for those who want to show they care, but not enough to remember to water real flowers. They also make a perfect gift for someone who appreciates beauty without the commitment—because who has time to keep flowers alive, anyway?

These are just the cutest darn things!

These are just the cutest darn things! I used them as favors for a dinner party with a single red rose and a sprig of baby's breath. A huge hit! I intend to buy more for myself to use in a row down the center of my table.

These are genius!!

I just received these tonight. I had some flowers in another bud vase that are very tired, but put them in one of these little gems to see how it would look. I’m prepping a big xmas party, and xmas in general so my dr table is a mess, but I had to take a picture for any of you who are considering ordering these in time for Christmas. Adorable! But also are sturdy enough to sit quite solidly on a table surface. If I could give them more stars than five, I would.

These are so stinkin cute!! Great for buds or some small branches, which is what I wanted them for... a little pricier than I wanted to pay, but overall a good buy!

Great quality and value!

I am so pleased with these little vases! They're very well made, they're a gorgeous (not cheap looking) shade of gold, they have a good weight and balance to them so the flowers I am using them for don't tip them over, and they were perfect for what I needed them for. There are no chips or flaws in the finish anywhere as is so often the case with gold decor.

My holiday dinner dishes are a very simple cream color with a gold band which is perfectly fine but they're not terribly exciting to display on shelves. So I bought these little vases and added red, pink, and cream latex roses and now the shelves look absolutely beautiful.

I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend them. :)

Super cute! Using them for my wedding centerpieces!

These are adorable, they are quite small, smaller than I was expecting but I don't mind, I think it actually looks better having them be so small as the flowers I purchased overflow out of the vase and it makes it look all the nicer. The gold color is beautiful, they came with no scratches and they are just gorgeous. I will be using them as part of my wedding centerpieces.

Elegance and Beauty at a Good Price!

I ordered these vases to use as gifts, and they are even more exquisite than photos can capture. I intend to order more and recommend them to anyone seeking a lovely guest-host/ess gift or decorating for the fall and winter holidays.
