Wall hanging

Works on drywall, plaster, or wood panelling. Drive a small screw at a slight upward angle, leaving the head proud of the wall. Slide the keyhole slot on the back over the screw head, adjust to level. Sits flush — no visible hardware.

No stud? No problem. A drywall anchor rated for the weight works fine.

Displaying a collection

Lay everything out on the floor first. Start with your anchor piece, build outward. Keep 2–3 inches between each piece and aim for the centre of the whole arrangement to land around eye level. Use painter's tape on the wall to map positions before committing to any screws.

The Story Behind This Collection

The Newport set exists because somebody at a dinner party looked at the blank wall behind the host's head and said, out loud, that the wall needed help. The host — who had spent real money on the table, the chairs, and a rug that nobody was allowed to spill on — had somehow stopped decorating at the walls. So we built a nine-piece arrangement for exactly that scenario: a dining room that has everything except something worth looking at above the sideboard. Blue Grey Gerbera Daisy, Fancy Blue Fiesta Marigold, Navy Poppy, the full roster. The palette carries a little brass, a little polish, the kind of thing that performs under a pendant light during a dinner party and under flat morning light when nobody is watching. Every flower hangs from a single screw set into its keyhole — nothing permanent enough to worry the next tenant or the current one. The sizing ranges from the Cement Aqualla Gardenia at three and a quarter inches to the Blue Grey Gerbera Daisy at five and a half, so the cluster has genuine visual depth without needing careful calibration. We named it Newport because the energy felt right — refined, assured, and not remotely stuffy about it.
