Build Your Floral Wall With These:

Designed to cluster naturally, like a wild garden. Choose a flower as your design anchor, then grow your custom floral wall with these companions:

At the far end of Long Island, where the Hamptons finally exhale and give way to something wilder, Montauk exists in beautiful defiance of coastal conformity—lighthouses, fishing boats, and beaches that feel genuinely untamed. Seven ceramic blooms capture this end-of-the-road authenticity in a palette that prioritizes substance over seaside cliché.

Ivory monch aster and ivory snowdrop establish clean simplicity, while milk teal elegance ranunculus and robin's egg blue French marigold inject the soft aquatic tones of shallow water over sand bars. Blue noir pompon dahlia provides unexpected depth—the color of ocean at dusk when pleasure boats have departed and serious fishermen remain. Navy sorbet peony adds substantial drama, while fancy blue fiesta marigold punctuates the collection with cheerful confidence.

Seven pieces embraces minimalism without feeling sparse—enough to create cohesive atmosphere, restrained enough to suit spaces that value authenticity over decorating excess. Each bloom arrives in its own pretty box with a keyhole for wall hanging.

For those who prefer Montauk's unpretentious beaches to the Hamptons' groomed perfection, surfers who check wave reports before coffee, and anyone who believes the best coastal spaces are the ones that feel like genuine escapes rather than carefully curated Instagram backdrops. This is where coastal sophistication meets "I actually live here" realness.

How to hang & display

Wall hanging

Works on drywall, plaster, or wood panelling. Drive a small screw at a slight upward angle, leaving the head proud of the wall. Slide the keyhole slot on the back over the screw head, adjust to level. Sits flush — no visible hardware.

No stud? No problem. A drywall anchor rated for the weight works fine.

Displaying a collection

Lay everything out on the floor first. Start with your anchor piece, build outward. Keep 2–3 inches between each piece and aim for the centre of the whole arrangement to land around eye level. Use painter's tape on the wall to map positions before committing to any screws.

Table & shelf display: Equally beautiful propped on a shelf, mantle, or side table. Pair with books, candles, or a small pot.

Montauk - 7 Piece Set - Chive Ceramics Studio - Ceramic Flower Sets - Chive Ceramics Studio

What flowers are included?

Our design team picked these. It took longer than it should have — someone always has opinions about petal shapes, and at least one person was caught quietly swapping out someone else's color choices. What's below is what made it through. Click any name for dimensions, color detail, and close-ups of the individual piece.

The Story Behind This Collection

The Montauk set happened because somebody at the studio noticed that mudrooms never got the good wall art. Kitchens got it. Living rooms got it. Bathrooms, somehow, got it. But the mudroom — the one room where you actually stop and look around while pulling off your boots — got a hook rack and maybe a mirror your cousin left behind after Thanksgiving. So we pulled seven flowers from the Coastal palette: Ivory Snowdrop, Milk Teal Elegance Ranunculus, Navy Sorbet Peony, the whole crew. Sandy tones and deep blues, nothing trying too hard, nothing begging for a spotlight. The kind of wall that looks finished before you are. Each piece has a keyhole on the back, so you are dealing with one screw per flower, nothing structural, nothing the landlord will notice afterward. The sizing runs from a compact Robin's Egg Blue French Marigold at three and a half inches wide up to the Navy Sorbet Peony at six inches across, which means you can stagger them without any single piece bullying the rest. We named it after Montauk because that palette felt right there — bleached and sun-worn, comfortable arguing with salt air. The kind of wall that improves everything and argues with nothing.

Classic Collection

The Classic Collection holds the studio's broadest palette — forty-eight ceramic flowers spanning ivory through deep burgundy, with enough variety to anchor a wall in nearly any room. Neutrals, bold accents, and everything between. Explore the Classic Collection and find the bloom that finishes the room.

Shido Seeds — Blueberry

The ceramic handles the wall; the plant handles the light. Shido Seeds grows the Blueberry Fruit & Berry Seeds Packet for anyone who wants something living alongside something permanent. Heirloom blueberry seeds with no genetic modification, packed at the start of each growing year. Plant them on the sill while the Montauk set covers the entry.

Frequently asked questions

How many pieces come in the Montauk curated set?

The Montauk curated set includes seven individual ceramic flowers. Each bloom is a different species from the Coastal palette: Ivory Monch Aster, Ivory Snowdrop, Milk Teal Elegance Ranunculus, Robin's Egg Blue French Marigold, Blue Noir Pompon Dahlia, Navy Sorbet Peony, and Fancy Blue Fiesta Marigold. They ship separately boxed, so nothing arrives tangled with anything else.

What is a good mudroom wall decor ceramic flower set?

A good mudroom wall decor ceramic flower set needs to handle humidity and foot traffic without fading. The Montauk seven-piece grouping uses glazed ceramic finished in sandy neutrals and coastal blues, so nothing reacts to moisture the way fabric or paper would. Gerald, the kind of neighbor who wipes his feet for nobody, would struggle to damage these.

What colors are in the Montauk ceramic flower collection?

The Montauk ceramic flower collection leans coastal — ivory, milk teal, robin's egg blue, blue noir, and navy appear across the seven blooms. The palette was built to look like something that has been arguing with salt air for decades and winning handily. Nothing neon. Nothing fighting the coat hooks for attention.

How do I arrange the Montauk set on my wall?

Is the Montauk curated collection easy to hang?

The Montauk curated collection is easy to hang. A keyhole hides behind each bloom, so a single screw holds every flower flat against the wall. Seven screws total, a level if you are particular, and maybe fifteen minutes if you leave the phone in the other room. No anchors needed, no adhesive strips, nothing that requires a second opinion from the internet.

What size is the Montauk ceramic flower set?

Individual pieces in the Montauk set measure from the Robin's Egg Blue French Marigold at three and a half inches wide up to the Navy Sorbet Peony at six inches across. Heights off the wall run from one point five inches to two point five inches of projection. The range fills a mudroom wall section without overwhelming the space around it.

Can I buy Montauk ceramic flowers individually or only as a set?

What rooms suit the Montauk ceramic flower set best?
