The France Collection is the romantic register of the Chive range: camellias, roses, and peonies in blush, peach, cream, and teal — the palette of French country rooms, Parisian apartments, and anyone who believes a wall can be flattering. Each flower is hand-glazed, designed in Toronto, and mounts flush on a single small screw, hardware included.
This is also the collection the 9th anniversary chose. The ninth year’s traditional gift is pottery, and a kiln-fired ceramic flower answers the tradition in its own material while skipping the shelf entirely: pottery, hung as art, marking the year at eye level. Couples start with one flower at year nine and let the wall accrue from there. Beyond anniversaries, the palette does what French country style always does — it makes rooms look warmer and their owners look like they inherited good taste. The flowers only look delicate. The glaze is fired for decades.
